In the world today up to 6 million people are blind and 100 million have impaired vision, simply because they don't have access to a pair of glasses.

Kosmac & Clemens Optometrists in conjunction with ICEE^» (International Centre for Eyecare Education) is committing funds from the purchase of every complete pair of glasses to the "Sight for Sight" Program.

ICEE is an organisation endorsed by the Optometrists Association Australia, is a member of the Australian Council for Overseas Aid, and a member of the World Health Organisation's "Vision 2020" project aimed at eliminating preventable blindness by the year 2020. Funds collected will be used to train Eyecare Personnel and provide affordable glasses in developing nations. Once trained, these staff will be presented with the "Kosmac & Clemens/ICEE Trainee Scholarship" which will allow them to continue the good work in their own countries and train others to do the same.
